Recently we have been added to the Pandora FMS reports two new attractive items: Projection graph and Prediction graph.
Projection graph will project in the future an estimation of the module data. This estimation is based on linear regression and is implemented following the least squares method.
In this item you set the period of time to make the estimation and period of time in the future where the module data will be projected.
Prediction graph returns a date in the future where a module reach an interval. It uses least squares method like the Projection graph.
In this item you set the period of time to make the estimation and the interval that the module needs to reach to return the associated date.
These graphs are really useful (i.e.) in a system’s size estimation.
