Pandora FMS NG 771 RRR

This is a minor update with new functionality and features. The latest version with maximum stability is Pandora FMS 772 Renaissance LTS (Long Term Support).

Regular releases (RRR) are monthly releases that bring together many changes and new functionalities. They are ideal for those users who need to be up to date and are not afraid of finding unpolished details. The LTS versions are oriented to consolidate all the changes of the RRR versions and offer maximum stability.

LTS versions are released once a year. Regular releases (RRR) are released approximately every 2 months.

It allows an agent module to be displayed in the Visual Console with a “Tag” field and also with another label that displays the value through variable sizes. The value is displayed in red/yellow when in critical status, otherwise the color is chosen. The chart color is also customizable but it is green by default.

Custom filters for the log viewer

As in events, modules and audits, it is now possible to save a filter and reuse it. This filter can also be used in log reports.

Due to the EOL release of PHP version 8.0, LTS 772 “Renaissance” version is the last one that will support said version, PHP 8.2 becoming the official version supported by Pandora FMS for the following ones.


From Pandora FMS version 769 as a consequence of the Oracle library update, Oracle Discovery instant client 12 version will no longer be supported, recommending version 19.8

How to update Pandora FMS
  • Update Manager automatically. Requires internet connection in the Pandora FMS console.
  • Update Manager manually through OUM update files in the Pandora FMS console.
  • Manual installation of packages (rpm, deb ...) and subsequent update of the console through the web.

To update the server you will have to do it manually through RPM or tarball packages. The latest version includes MR number 68, which must be applied as indicated in the official documentation.
