Do not work in “post-mortem” mode because you do not have unified logs

Native log collection: everything collected, standardized and centralized without setting up a Frankenstein of tools.

Multi-client architecture for MSP

Pandora FMS key features

Multi-client architecture ready for growth

The platform is designed to manage tens or hundreds of customers from a single environment.

Each client is isolated by roles, ACLs and segmented policies, while Command Center allows scaling to thousands of endpoints without redesign.

An architecture designed for MSPs that need order, control and frictionless growth.

Pandora has a flexible architecture that allows it to provide solutions in complex and demanding environments.

Network Monitoring

Agentless network monitoring in isolated environments

The Satellite Server enables agentless monitoring via SNMP, WMI, and SSH in isolated environments.

Endpoints

Unattended installation endpoints

For rapid deployment via AD tools or scripted deployments via ssh.

Endpoints Remonte Control

Remote control of endpoints, without direct connection

Only the connection to the server is enough to manage them.

Remote Monitoring

Distributed remote monitoring

By geographical areas. All components of the architecture can be distributed for management or legal reasons.

Pandora FMS has been designed for MSPs.

Pandora as manufacturer

Pandora FMS professional support
We are a manufacturer that does not compete with you.
We do not provide services to the end customer: that business is yours.
We do not do custom configurations: that is done by our partners.
We do not develop specific integrations for the end customer: we do them with you, not on your behalf.
We do not deal directly with the end customer: we prefer that this relationship is always yours.
Our job is to manufacture the platform.
Yours is to deploy it, operate it and bill services over it.
We do not enter your field: we strengthen it.

Limitations of the OPEN competence
(Zabbix / Nagios, etc.)

It is not a real multitenant.
Extreme operational complexity.
MSPs end up dedicating a technician to their internal platform support, costing more than expected and depending on a named technician.
Non-standard integrations: each deployment is different, requiring a “pick and shovel” approach.
Hidden TCO: zero license cost, brutal cost in labor and operational risk.
Poor adaptation to the ISO 27001 / NIS2 model, with a heavy investment in external processes due to the lack of integration and vision directly applicable to NIS2/27001/ENS.
They are not designed to scale linearly and easily to more than a few thousand devices.
Not aligned with pay-per-use; their model does not fit MSP.
The manufacturer does NOT provide structure; the MSP is left alone. Inability to ask for help or influence the product roadmap.
No integrated security or automation, limited endpoint, no real RMM capability (automation, remote control, patch management). No log collection or inventory capability. Forces the MSP to use other tools.

Conclusion:
Opensource means “Do It Yourself”, this means, it is cheaper at first sight, but it is a pain in the long run, impossible to build a solid plan.

Pandora FMS vs. PRTG

PRTG – Perceived benefits

Easy to install.
Low learning curve.

PRTG – Critical Limitations for MSPs

It is not real multitenant, at least for an MSP.
Rigid sensor licensing, impossible to translate into simple pricing for MSPs.
Unpredictable cost to grow: sensor-based licensing explodes and destroys margins.
Poor option for ISO 27001 / NIS2: insufficient reporting, limited auditing.
Limited scalability: it is not intended for 10,000-100,000 nodes.
No integrated security or automation, limited endpoint, no real RMM capability (automation, remote control, patch management). No log collection or inventory capability. Forces the MSP to use other tools.

Conclusion:
PRTG does not fit in advanced MSP, nor in your 2026 narrative.
Its greatest “strength” (simplicity) is also its ceiling.

SolarWinds

Pandora FMS vs. SolarWinds

SolarWinds – Historical Fortresses

Robust product in enterprise environments.
Brand recognition.

SolarWinds – Weaknesses compared to Pandora in MSP model

Not native multitenant; requires “per client” architectures.
Cost prohibitive for MSP (licenses, modules, maintenance).
Rigid licensing model, far from pay-per-use.
Too heavy for distributed SMEs.
Its 2020 post-attack narrative is still damaged: delicate compliance.
Complex operation: not a tool that an MSP can easily standardize.

Conclusion:
SolarWinds ≠ cost-effective MSP scalability.
Fits corporates with high budget, but not channel with tight margins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Null

I am an MSP with more than 100 customers, can I have a centralized console where each customer sees only his own?

Yes, Pandora is multitenant natively. You can manage all your clients from a single console, completely isolated from each other. You can even delegate partial permissions to each client on their own systems without affecting the others. All under a unified and centralized license.

How is Pandora licensed?

Per active agent per month, with annualized billing or quarterly/semi-annual reviews based on actual consumption.

You pay only for what you are using in each period.

You can grow or reduce licenses according to your client portfolio, without complex financial operations or rigid commitments.

What types of licenses are there? Is a workstation the same as a server?

No, it is not the same. Pandora is licensed by categories according to the type of asset:

  • ONE – Servers, critical devices and web transactions
  • RMM – Windows workstations and equipment
  • NMS – Network equipment
  • RC – Remote Control
  • Example: if a customer has 10 servers and 100 PCs, his license adds up to 10 ONE + 100 RMM.

Is there a perpetual license?

Yes, it exists.

But we encourage the subscription / pay-per-use model, which is more flexible and consistent with the MSP operation.

Does Pandora work on-premise or in the cloud?

The standard model for MSP is on-premise managed by the partner itself.

You control your infrastructure, your customers and your data.

Pandora provides you with support, continuous training and the licenses you need to operate your environment as you decide.

Does Pandora compete with my managed services?

No. We are a manufacturer. We do not service the end customer. That business is yours. If we have end customers working with us, it’s because we didn’t find a partner to work with at the time. Many partners have received direct customers from us after working with us for a long time.

Can I resell Pandora with my brand or as part of my services?

Yes, Pandora integrates into your MSP offering without interfering with your customer relationship.

What support do I receive as a partner?

Access to advanced technical support (L2-L4), training, in-house licenses and strategic account support.

What if I need a specific integration?

We help you to develop it. Pandora does not make direct integrations for the final customer, only with you.

Will I be able to manage thousands of endpoints?

Yes, the architecture is designed to scale without redesigning your entire environment. We have partners working with more than 50,000 endpoints using Command Center.

What business margin can I expect?

MSPs bill for their managed services over the technology. Pandora makes it possible to build a stable recurring revenue model.

Is there a protected area or conflicts between partners?

Yes: Partner Managers manage leads and zones to avoid conflicts between partners.

Can I offer Pandora under my own brand name (white-label)?

Yes, as long as you respect the license and channel relationship. Pandora can be silently integrated into your MSP offering.

Can I integrate Pandora with my current stack (ITSM, ticketing, EDR, SIEM, RMM)?

Yes, and we help you with integrations if needed.

What if a customer requires very specific functionality?

Strategic improvements are prioritized in the roadmap if they make sense for the MSP ecosystem. We can also help you develop it with you.

Do I need a very large team to operate Pandora?

No. With two trained technicians you can operate hundreds of endpoints. Pandora is designed for MSPs with compact and efficient teams.

How does the remote control work?

Through RC: secure remote access even without direct connection to the endpoint. Ideal for MSPs with complex client networks.

What happens if I stop using Pandora?

The subscription model avoids sunk investments. You simply adjust or cancel the license at the next review period.

How do I update Pandora without affecting my customers?

The upgrade cycle is safe and progressive; we teach you how to plan it without interruptions.

Who maintains the central monitoring platform?

You. Pandora gives you tools and support, but the infrastructure is yours and remains under your control.

Yes, Pandora does not depend on the client’s vertical; it manages any environment with endpoints, network and services.

Does it work well with restrictive firewalls or complicated networks?

Yes, Tentacle, RC and agents are designed to operate even in environments with limited or unidirectional connectivity.

What are my risks as a partner?

No commercial: Pandora does not compete with your services, does not sell to the end customer and does not invade your portfolio.

Reviews

What do you like most about Pandora FMS?

I am very impressed with the capabilities of Pandora FMS, as it has helped solve our main challenge: monitoring the IT infrastructure environment of multiple customers, ensuring solid SLAs.

What do you like the least about Pandora FMS?

It is one of the best tools for centralized monitoring through the Pandora dashboard; even so, I think it would be ideal to have more customization options for the dashboard.

What challenges is Pandora FMS solving and how does it benefit you?

It helps us monitor our IT infrastructure, including network and cloud instances, which has simplified monitoring thanks to the support of a central dashboard.
