I’ve just implemented a very nice and demanded feature: to be able users to connect remote devices by SSH or Telnet from the Pandora FMS console, just by the web console, without Java, Flash or anything else, and to have that connection done FROM the server / console, not from the user browser.
Now it’s done (I need to commit yet), by using a nice piece of software called anyterm (with small modifications). It’s not very easy to setup because you need to execute two new processes / daemons in the server, but its really amazing and powerful, pretty interesting for people administering a lot of networking / unix servers.
