With the Community Edition you can set up your own free, unlimited monitoring solution, an ideal tool for advanced users and small organizations. Thanks to its thousands of pages of documentation and forums you will be able to integrate Pandora FMS in your project.

You need to have installed in the system docker and docker compose, installation documentation: https://docs.docker.com/get-docker/ Once installed, we will use the yaml file from the official PandoraFMS repository:
mkdir $HOME/pandorafms; cd $HOME/pandorafms wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pandorafms/pandorafms/develop/extras/docker/centos8/docker-compose.yml docker-compose -f $HOME/pandorafms/docker-compose.yml up
We wait a few seconds for the download and configuration of the environment. You can access to the PFMS console from the url http://127.0.0.1:8080/pandora_console using “admin” as user and “pandora” as password. For more information about options and configurations of PandoraFMS in docker go to the project’s Docker hub page.
Install Pandora FMS Community edition in a ISO image, and checkout our setup, step-by-step documentation.
- Get the ISO image from here (see below).
- Burn it in a DVD, USB Stick or boot it from your Virtual Infrastructure manager (VmWare, XEN, VirtualBox, etc).
- Boot the image and proceed to the guided setup.
- Access the Pandora FMS console, type in your browser http://<pandora_ip_address>/pandora_console and log in as “admin” user using the default password “pandora“.
Install Pandora FMS community version on your RHEL7 or CentOS7 in just three steps:
- Activate CentOS Updates, CentOS Extras and EPEL in your repository library.
- Add Pandora FMS official repo to your system:
[artica_pandorafms] name=CentOS7 - PandoraFMS official repo baseurl=http://firefly.artica.es/centos7 gpgcheck=0 enabled=1
- Install packages from our repo and get all dependencies solved
yum install pandorafms_console pandorafms_server mariadb-server
