The functionality of this plugin consists in make an use of data and resources monitoring of a PostgreSQL server under systems based on Unix.
It is necessary an external configuration file where all the parametrization of the plugin was defined. A sample configuration file, with completely valid data and easy to adapt or extend, is included.
There is no need to install libraries or external utilities, the plugin uses already installed software in the system to monitor (PostgreSQL, system commands, etc.).
It is important to mention that, like the rest of the monitoring with PandoraFMS, the plugin could be used to collect information of “text string” kind (to manage it as events) or absolute or incremental numeric kind (to do performance management).
Includes documention in Spanish and English.
