Projects and Payment Options

Projects and Payment Options What type of model do you offer, On-premise or SAAS?
We offer both models, the software being exactly the same. It is possible to migrate from one model to another, being a service that we offer (with a cost that is separate from that of the license)
Since Pandora FMS offers perpetual licenses, with the annual support renewal option and also a subscription model, which one is better?
The subscription model is ideal should you wish to pay less for the first year or if the costs of the license are charged to a third party, so it is easier to estimate costs by year, as part of a service. From the 3rd year onwards, a perpetual licence is always cheaper.
Is it possible to invoice in US dollars with payment to an account in the USA?
It is possible, for that we use a bank (WISE) with an account in USD that allows both payment by international transfer (swift) and by local transfer between accounts in the US (ABA). You may pay in US dollars from anywhere in the world.
Can the project be invoiced in different phases?
In the case of large projects, especially with new clients, we apply a phased payment plan, with an initial payment and partial payments after reaching certain milestones.

As for the payment period after the invoice is issued, we maintain a period of 30 days. There is the possibility of extending the billing terms to 60, 90 or 120 days, although this option usually entails an additional surcharge ranging from 1% to 4%.

Is there a payment schedule? Is it possible to pay monthly?
In projects that involve extensive services or large licenses, we choose to structure payments in a fractional way. This practice is not common in smaller projects. Monthly payments are reserved exclusively for Software as a Service (SaaS) and Maintenance as a Service (MaaS) versions.
Since we do not have a local account, we can invoice through a third party. Is that alright?
It can be done, although this generally increases costs due to the third party’s commission.
Is the maintenance payment for the second and third year made in advance or is it paid every year?
We offer the option to pay in advance for these periods, which provides the advantage of applying a discount and avoids possible increases associated with price revisions. In case of choosing the annual payment, it is important to bear in mind that annual renewals usually entail a slight increase, linked to inflation adjustments.
For training. How many people should be trained? Should that be done remotely or face-to-face?
The entire team that works with Pandora FMS should be trained, there are different levels, PAT is the one that allows technicians to manage Pandora FMS, operate with it and have enough knowledge to be able to face daily tasks. The PAE course is more specialized and is essential to address integrations, complex monitoring. The ideal approach is to have at least one person with PAE.

People usually make the most out of face-to-face training, especially for large groups, but remote training also allows us to be much more flexible and not block a group of people for days for training purposes.

There are PAT and PAE certifications that certify the training taken by students.

Our license includes annual support, is it not possible to make monthly payments. Are there any problems with credit card payments?
No issues at all. We accept all types of credit cards, although for credit card payments there may be a small charge for the bank fee depending on the source country.
Is it possible for you to deploy agents yourselves?
We may do it directly as part of the implementation, we can automate it or create custom installers so that after the first implementation stage you may include it in your processes for providing new systems.
What kind of services do we need to monitor? You could send an example.
We can do an implementation study and provide you with guidelines to follow or even execute the full system implementation ourselves.
