There are several causes that cause our Pandora FMS server to go down and as a consequence our monitoring is interrupted.
The first thing to determine the cause is to look at the logs, Pandora FMS’ server consists of 2 log files:
/var/log/pandora/pandora_server.log/var/log/pandora/pandora_server.error
Once we detect the error in the log we can take the appropriate actions to solve the error.
Other possible causes of crashes may be the following:
- Disk filling.
- Insufficient RAM.
- MySQL performance problems and/or MySQL server crash.
- Full node problems.
- Upgrade failure, incorrect packages.
- Database update problems.
