It is possible to execute the maintenance tool manually once the script has been created. Its use is very simple, from a shell console you should execute:
# /usr/share/pandora_server/util/pandora_db.pl /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf
Note: in installed systems this could take hours, it is recommended to leave the process in second place. To execute the maintenance tool manually and leve it in second place, execute:
# nohup /usr/share/pandora_server/util/pandora_db.pl /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf
The process will take some time until it will be completely download in second place. After this, you could close the shell console window without problems, and the process will continue being executed.
Note:
In some installations the directory of tools could change. The most common is: /usr/share/pandora/util/
