VLAN Information combination, SNMP
Posted by Daniel on April 19, 2023 at 07:13Hi,
I have two VLANs.
One VLAN is my managed VLAN for the Switches so only from this VLAN i can get SNMP Information. Then i have a second VLAN where all the PCs Servers and so on are connected.
Now the Pandora FMS is just in the VLAN of the PCs Servers and so on.
So i do not have the Information of the Switches, to which Port which PC and so on is connected. If i connect not the PC of the Pandora FMS also to the managed VLAN of the switches can Pandora FMS combinate the information so thet i can get a complete map?

Hi Daniel,
If you want to monitor one or more devices, you will have to make sure that the Pandora FMS server has a direct connection with those devices.
You can also use an agent inside that network to monitor those interfaces and send the information to the Pandora FMS server, but you will have to make a bridge so that there is a connection between both machines.
Best regards,
VÃc.

Hi Daniel,
Once Pandora FMS has information about the interfaces you will have to join the interfaces in “Module relations” in the module configuration or in the network map.
I leave you the link to our wiki:
