just curious what the red color up to if the agent down it turn into red color or some other function

hi all i am quite not sure if the pandora of this versioin will support
showing down agent in visual console as i have tried to add some agent and i set it as down agent but it still never turn to red but anyway when i click on the agent, it will show detail inside.
—some said that i need to deleted the keepalive module out and add proc icmp and icmp instead but it still doesn’t work out.

Just curious, how do you set down the agent ?. Visual console do not track “agent”, track individual module (who need to have values > 0 to get “Green” status, otherwise it will go red (down).

Are you monitoring agent using a ICMP/Ping check ? or are you monitoring only with agent information ?.

If you have only agent, you should attach map icon to keep_alive module, but if you use another source of information that keep agent contact data updated, keep_alive don’t work for that and need to use icmp_proc (ping) check instead.
