  updating mysql privilege database failed

  Greetings!

  I’m trying the Pandora FMS live image, running it on VirtualBox in OpenSolaris.

  I get the “Updating mysql privilege database… failed” message when booting up, after  answering the questions about domain etc.

  I suspect it may have to do something with the fact that I’m already running a MySQL installation on the OpenSolaris host machine, or is that crazy??

  How can I resolve this? When trying the live image on my laptop, that’s not connected to my intranet, it works nicely.
