tentacle server cannot start

Hi,

I would like to use this product and am currently testing it. I am having the problem where my Windows machines are not reporting on CPU load (which I setup as a test).

I think the tentacle_server may be the problem because when I try to start it I get the message;

sudo: no passwd entry for pandora!
Tentacle server could not be started.

I am not sure where to create the user/passwd for pandora.

Can you please help?

You need to have a pandora user to run tentacle server WITHOUT root privileges, When you start as root itself make a sudo call to run under pandora user privileges. You should have a pandora user created if you have a pandora server installed.

What distro, version and pandora do you have installed ?
