[SOLVED]Pandorafms Web Console displaying issue
Posted by gabriel-m on September 20, 2012 at 01:06I just installed PandoraFMS 4 on a Ubuntu 12.04 server. I installed the console and the server in the same machine but i ran into a problem while running the php installation for the console in the web. I remove the ./install.php file like the installation guide recommends and made the right changes in the pandora_server.conf file but when i type the IP adress/pandora_console URL on my browser the console doesnt shows properly. I get a gray empty background with 2 regular txt boxes to login and it actually loggs me but when it goes into the console doesnt displays right. Im pretty new to Pandora so im not sure what could i be missing in order for it to work. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I want to thank the pandora community for all your support. A consultant from BBT technologies here at Selma Alabama, and had the same issue; however, he experienced it on SuSe. He solved this issue by going to synaptic manager and uninstalling both the console and the server. Then he installed the console first, remove the install.php file from /var/www/pandora_console and finished the installation from the web and the console came right up displaying like its supposed to. I can’t explain it. Then he installed the server and modified the pandora_server.conf file and finally he started the pandora service and tentacle service. Is there any explanation for this?
