Recon Management Loads Blank
After upgrade to latest version, recon management seems broken. Recon view loads correctly and displays all recon tasks, logs show scheduled recon tasks are also executing correctly. However, it has become impossible to manage the recon tasks. Clicking on the gear icon in the upper right (Manage) leads to the URL ‘http://server.IP/pandora_console/index.php?sec=estado&sec2=godmode/servers/manage_recontask’ – this page still has the normal sidebar menu and top status/menu bar – but the main body of the page loads completely blank. I’ve checked the log files briefly and nothing is immediately jumping out. I’ve tried re-applying the MR scripts from 1 thru 28 in case I missed one – no change. Page footer currently shows “Pandora FMS v7.0NG.735 – Build 191231 – MR 28”.
Does anyone have an idea what may be wrong or where else I can check to try and troubleshoot this?

Your Pandora FMS installation has been made from scratch with an ISO or have you updated a previous installation you had?
The URL you are displaying is one belonging to previous versions of Pandora FMS, prior to the inclusion of our brand new Discovery Server.
Can you tell us please when did you perform the recon task and how you did it?

Installation has been made from an ISO and then updated from there. Not interested in having to completely reinstall just to solve. I’ve tried the discovery server and don’t particularly like the interface.
Just for testing, I also went to the discovery page and then the task list (server.ip/pandora_console/index.php?sec=gservers&sec2=godmode/servers/discovery&wiz=tasklist) which shows all the recon tasks. From there I am indeed able to edit the tasks.
So I guess the question then becomes, have the old recon task pages become broken due to the changes made to add the discovery server?
To answer your question as to how I was trying to edit the recon task, I would load the main page of Pandora FMS, then click on ‘Servers / Manage Servers’, then on the line where the discovery server is mentioned there is an icon that if you hover over it says ‘Manage recon tasks’, I would click that and then get a page saying ‘Recon view’ at the top. On the far right hand side of the page, on that same line there are two icons – ‘Refresh’ and ‘Manage’. I was clicking on the ‘Manage’ (gear) icon. Alternately, I would try clicking the ‘Edit’ (wrench) icon next to any of the existing recon tasks listed. Both of these operations (which previously would work) now just lead to a blank white page.

We have been investigating and there is indeed a bug regarding the management of the recon tasks through the route you provided. It should redirect you to the Discovery menu instead of trying to access the old recon task subsection.
Our team will work to see this issue solved as soon as possible.
