    Log files would be great.

As for me I’m stuck with version “0” and “Starting to update to the latest package” loop.
It downloads the file into the download folder and cant decompress it?

    Hi vic

    last_package.tgz exists.
    Admin: All Rights
    Users: Modify

I also created the folder pandora_console – according to other threads this could solve the problem (it didn’t).

For testing purpose, the whole PandroaFMS folder has:
    Users: Modify

    Hi ariTK,

I recommend you to set the permissions of the folder of the Pandora console and its files as user with all privileges or an user with privileges of execution.
Is possible that the console wants run any file and it hasn’t got permissions to do.

    Best regards,

    vic.

    Hallo Vic,

    i follow these steps:

    1. run online manager
    2. first try say extraction error and no last_package.tgz (checked here C:PandoraFMShtdocspandora_consoleattachmentdownloads)

    3. second try have there results:
    – last_package.tgz is in the folder
    – Pandora web interface says The latest version of package installed is: 0
    – files in folder C:PandoraFMShtdocspandora_consoleattachmentdownloadspandora_console have today date and time

    Thats all

    Screenshots attached.

EDIT: maybe is problem in last_package.tar. I see here 2 folders, first have “.” name and second is “pandora_console”. Windows operating systems cannot create folder with “.” name, right? Maybe here is error in extraction package?

    Hi Uschi,

In all directories there are 2 folders by default.
“.”  –> Refers to the current directory.
“..” –> Refers to the parent directory.

Y reccomend you reinstall the Pandora Console to the latest version  to repair the files that are damaged.

Save the */pandora_console/include/config.php in a secure place and put it in the same folder after of installation.

    Best regards,

    vic.

    Hallo Vic,

it is not true. Please download (in Windows OS) last_package.tgz. Inside is last_package.tar and he have 2 folders inside. See my attachment.

Inside dot name folder is second folder – PaxHeaders.23061 and here is file pandora_console.

    File content is:
    30 mtime=1509974060.053224441
    30 atime=1509974058.781153734
    30 ctime=1509974060.053224441

    I tried this:

    – delete *.* in folder C:PandoraFMShtdocspandora_consoleattachmentdownloads
    – launch update manager online

    The result is this:

    – last_package.tgz was downloaded
    – update manager extract folder pandora_console (in folder C:PandoraFMShtdocspandora_consoleattachmentdownloads)
    – last_package.tgz was deleted by download manager
    – and Error in package extraction

I have installed latest Pandora FMS – 714. But this problem ocured in earliest versions too.

Im not sure if clean install solve this problem…
