This is great news! We were just ready to give up on the project and you have given us some light. Here is our config, what steps would you recommend for upgrading to 2.1?
VMware – Cent0S 5.2, Currently running Server 2.0 and Console 2.0 on this same box. We’re having some minor issues with tentacle, network map not working, and mass delete of modules from agents.
    What’s the recommendation –
    1. Start with a fresh install of CentOS and then install the console and server on this same box
    2. Upgrade to 2.1 on our existing box
    3. Create new and separate vms for each the pandora console and sever?

    Thanks

    Hello agetz!

There is an update script, but if you were having some issues in the past, try to use a fresh installation first.

CentOS is having some issues with dependencies (due normally to package’s name). We know some users with knowledge of CentOs repositories have solved the installation issues.

Pandora Console has some PHP dependencies. Pandora Servers use Perl dependencies (maybe you have to use CPAN with some packages…)

Please, don’t hesitate to write your issues/problems with dependencies/installation. We have tested Pandora FMS 2.1 in several environments and works fine.

    Kind regards,

    Raul
