I´ve already replied this in the spanish thread as well, but keeping in mind that we´ve loads of non-spanish speakers I might reply this in english as well.
First off, I encourage you to do not use the rpm, not so far, since I´ve not got any time to rebuild packages for the 1.3 version, so the ones we have in my repos right now are the 1.2 ones, quite old I have to say.
So you better use the .tar.gz of the 1.3 final version available in the official website.
I´m hoping to have some kinda time in january and rebuild the RPMs for the 1.3 version (we shouldn´t stay without them any more, I´m sorry)
On the other hand and regarding the dependencies issue. Most likely with the new version of OpenSuse, either they have renamed the package or moved, so you´re not finding it. I´ll keep an eye on this too, and solve it either changing the name in the spec or building a small metapackage 🙂
If you still feel like installing the old rpm, you can install the package using the cpan one (compiling it from the perl sources) and using rpm –nodeps
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Manuel
