/var/spool/babel/data_in/secdaemon.2052.data:847: parser error : Premature end of data in tag babeldata line 2

    The agent name: secdaemon;

SSH Authentication OK (Fedora 7/8 + Babel doesnt’ work; CentOS 5 with Babel works…..MAH)….>_>

I’ve changed the init script of Babel because the one build in Babel doesn’t work, even with CentOS.

    Now…….what’s this problem now?

The Babel Service on Windows is OK, well configured……….-.-

This platform is a really bad beast to configure…………-.-

It’s probably because of your encoding, try to uncomment the enconding line in babel_agent.conf

One more thing, have you realised you always finish your posts with bad words against babel? You might want to help us to improve it instead of doing not constructive critics, if you know what I mean…

Babel is complex, it really is, like it or not, it’s the truth so face it and try to be a wee bit polite, all of us would appreciate that.

Well…i would like use babel in my enviroment, but these problems are strange, even if there’s a documentation about install. I want only to understand why i’m meeting problems with babel 1.1…..

Do you want a costructive critic? 😀

Make a good faq about install issues about babel enterprise 1.1, even with the help of my “not costructive” topics.

I haven’t see until now a real “faq” about this, the documentation about install procedure isn’t accurate and it doesn’t say with what distribution babel doesn’t have problems.

I’m sincere about this. I want to use babel, but i hate these not-documented problems that i’m experiencing. It’s all.

I’ll try your advice, and i’ll report any other problem, specifing with what distro linux…..if there will be.

    ….thanks. 🙂

    EDIT:

Ok…here the problem: in Windows Agent there’s no encoding option…when i’ve read the documentation there’s an encoding “option” about Linux Agent, but none in Windows….>_>

Ehmm…and now? I’ve to add that to babel_agent.conf on windows?

And if yes…what’s the line the line that i’ve to add to the conf file?

    😀
