number of modules in the queue

Dear Community,
has it ever happened to you that the number of modules in the queue suddenly increased, with a consequent increase in the modules in an unknow state and after 20 minutes the situation recovers itself?

What could be the cause of this behavior? Or how where i can start to investigate it?

In Pandora’s server log a see no errors.

What kind of modules? remote modules, local (from software agents) modules?

Try to count the XML files pending to be processed on /var/spool/pandora/data_in directory.

    How many network modules do you have, what kind of ? (remote plugin, network modules, WMI, …), it could be a matter of threads (bottleneck) or a temporary problem. It happens randomly or have a pattern?

      Hello,
      
      i have 4071 network modules. The average queue is 500. Sometimes it raises to 1200 circa.
      
      By now it seeems it was an isolated case.

        Several options: increase number of threads of network server, what is its value right now?, also increase network_timeout, what vale do you have in your conf ?

        Increase the network threads to 8. If you dont use some servers like the SNMP console or WMI server, you can disable it. Timeout its ok.
