I’m very new with Pandora FMS. It look great for monitoring, but configuration isn’t easy. I installed the VMWare version and the Webinterface is looking fine. On a Windows 2003 Testserver I installed the Windows Agent.
In the Webinterface I added the testserver as a agent and after configuring some modules from templates Monitoring seems to work fine.
Now my question: I would like to monitor the Free Diskspace and Eventlog Messages. I’ve read something about this in configuring the Windows Agent Config file.
But how can I add the Agent Modules to monitoring in the Webinterface for this machine (and future Windows machines?)

    Please help!

You just add the modules to the configuration file of the agent, restart the agent and the agent will process the modules and will send data to the server. Those modules will appear in the Webconsole.

Of course, you have to setup before the kind of connection between agents and server, Tentacle recommended.

    Kind regards,

Hmm.. I already did that, but what if the web-console don’t show the modules? I only got an ‘alive’ module. How can I import the Agent Modules?

Finally got it working (I think ;-).
The Tentacle server wasn’t started at the Pandora machine. After starting the tentacle_server the Agents connected and monitoring of the modules was fine.
