    Hi,
I am testing Pandora FMS 1.2 on my linux box to monitor processes in my Windows box. I am able to view the processes through Pandora Console and the Pandora server even sends out e-mail alerts when a certain process fails. If I shutdown my Windows box(Pandora agent), for obvious reasons, the webconsole shows me the data from the last time the agent tried to contact the server(before shutdown).
When I restart my Windows box, the Pandora agent automatically starts SSH-ing its data to “Pandora_serverdata_in”, but the Webconsole still shows me only the data before the shutdown occurred. The approx time between my shutdown and restart is 15 hrs(time between me leaving office and coming back to office in the morning). As a work around, I need to stop and start the Pandora server, and things start working fine again.

Nope, it does not. Pandora FMS server is always “listening” for incoming data packets. I understand that your linux box with pandora server is always alive, and IP’s and hostname of both never changes, right ?
