I’ve spent more time with Pandora and starting to really liking it. We’re on our way to installing Pandora on our own CentOS box and having troubles installing all the dependencies. I’m using the guide that Roberto Litrico’s How To. It’s conflicting with perl-GD-Graph. Would anyone have any suggestions.

Daniels – did you mention you had a slimmed down version of your install on CentOS?

    Hi Agetz,

I was out for carnival (a very popular holiday here in Brazil) and back just today.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a document with the step-by-step of the installation process… I faced some problems during the process related with dependencies, and will try to help you as best as I can.

Some things I remember and that could help you:

I tried to install everything from packages (repositories). I used utterramblings.repo (http://www.jasonlitka.com/), CentOS base (http://mirrorlist.centos.org/) and RPM-forge (http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el5/en/mirrors-rpmforge).

After that, I installed the remain from CPAN.

About the perl-GD-Graph, I remember a specific issue. I have to make some changes in the file to make things work, but can’t remember exactly what I have done… Please, send some error messages and logs so I can try to figure out/remember the problem and the solution.

    Regards.
