I don’t know if i am understanding well this.

I explain: I have some windows Pandora agents 1.3.1 running well.
If i click on Modules tab of the agents i see the typical windows modules (CPUuse, FreedisC…) and agent_keepalive. But if i click on see data tab, i see de same modules except agent_keepalive. Is this all right or have i to see a 0 or 1 data sent from agent for the agent_keepalive module?.

And if i create an alert for that agent i only can assing it to the windows modules (again, CPUuse, FreediskC,…) but i can’t assign the alert to agent_keepalive because this is not shown in the list.

    Thanks.

I have another Pandora server 1.3 (not 1.3.1) and let me assign agent_keepalive and the other windows modules, but with 1.3.1 it doesn’t give me the option.

    Regards

It depends. Modules WITHOUT data dont show any trace on data tab. So if you have a keepalive module (created by default when you create an agent in the console), but you don’t have any data coming from an agent, this module never get’s data. Keepalive modules is useful only to detect missing data from agents, using it with network modules don’t have any sense because you can test it more eficiently using ICMP Proc (ping) Checks, for example.
