  • Historical data is being lost/dropped from graphs and reports

Posted by aeleus on September 11, 2024 at 14:58

When I click on Module graph or Module detail, data that was included one day is gone when I run the report on a later day.

I’ve attached examples of the same graph run on Sept 9 and then on Sept 10. The module takes a reading once per day.

Note that the values for Sept 1 – 9 that are displayed on Sept 9 are shown as “unknown” when the same graph is run on Sept 10. The pattern is 7 days of data followed by 9 days of “unknown”. To be clear, the data is collected and available for reporting but is then “dropped” on a ~16-day cycle.

I am seeing this behavior across almost all modules. The pattern (7/9 days) is similar, but the actual dates seem to vary.
