  External email Relay host

  Pandora email alert ‘fires’ fine when relayed off my local Exchange Server, however that defeats the purpose of monitoring that server.  So I tried editing the ‘pandora_server.conf’ file to point to an external email account using the following

  mta_address mail.mymailserver.com
  mta_user login.mymailserver.com
  mta_pass password

  mta_from myemail.mymailserver.com

  I’ve tried my gmail account, my personal account, friends account.  Nothing external works.

  Any help is appreciated.
