    Please, just before asking that kind of questions, check log , we can’t “guess” what is happening in your installation without more details about logs, process, distro and so on…

    Are you getting the code from the SVN? If so, branches or trunk? Or just the .tar.gz packages?

    As I understand… installing pandora v2 something from pandora 1.3.1 started. Can it be?
    for example I get –
    pandora_wmi start /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf

    Pandora FMS WMI Server 1.3.1-beta1 Build PS080226 Copyright (c) 2004-2008 ArticaST
    This program is Free Software, licensed under the terms of GPL License v2.
    You can download latest versions and documentation at http://pandora.sourceforge.net.

    and also I get next starting pandora_network

    Cannot adopt OID in HPI-B0101-MIB: saHpiHotSwapEventState ::= { saHpiHotSwapEventEntry 3 }
    Cannot adopt OID in HPI-B0101-MIB: saHpiHotSwapEventPreviousState ::= { saHpiHotSwapEventEntry 4 }
    Cannot adopt OID in HPI-B0101-MIB: saHpiAutoInsertTimeoutEntry ::= { saHpiAutoInsertTimeoutTable 1 }

    I had same starting pandora_network 1.3.1

    Hi!
    I think I found problem.
    I create new pandora database in mysql (pandora2) for new installation, and leave pandora db for any…
    and in /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf I forgot to change dbname to pandora2
    So, that’s why I got that error.
    But now I change it but still have error
    like Cannot adopt OID in HPI-B0101-MIB:
    and Undefined subroutine &main::daemonize called at /usr/local/bin/pandora_server line 54.

    We´ve done a fresh install from tar.gz packages in Sourceforge and we got no problems whatsoever.
    So it´s just your system, check the documentation to look for missing dependecy or something
