hi there
there is one of my server working worse sometimes and i would like to monitoring check if the lan card is working properly or not. Sometimes LAN Card is hang but we do not know about it …so if i can make alert for this i think it would help

What do you mean with hung? The box doesn’t respond to pings? Doesn’t a host alive module do the trick?

means that the lan card did not work properly =hang = led did not flash

What’s the output of “ifconfig -a” when the led it’s not working? What about /var/log/messages?

You need something to parse in order to set up an alert with a text string, for instance.
