Cannot create group in Manage Agent Groups

Hi,

It appears i can not create a new agent group. i get an error..

ERROR

There was a problem creating the group

I am running Pandora FMS v7.0NG – Build PC170324 – MR 13

Update manager says The last version of package installed is: 161017 . There is a new version: 181105, however it will not let me update.

I have spun up an old copy of pandora 6 and it works, and an earlier version of version 7 and that doesn’t work.

I have compared the sql table structure in pandora 6 and 7 for table tgrupo using ‘select * from tgrupo;’ and the structure is identical.

There are exisiting groups from pandora 6 to 7 migration (which was a nightmare) that allow modules to be assigned to those groups without a problem.

Please help.

Actually we are on the version 728 of Pandora FMS, you should try to update manually 1 by 1 to the latest version of Pandora FMS. If you haven’t got much done in your version, i highly recommend to install a new Pandora OpenSource version directly so everything works fine.

If not, please try to updagrate with each RPM package from the 701 to 728 an then try to do the agent group
