alerts
Posted by francisco-lima on December 10, 2008 at 14:52Hello,
I had used centreon+nagios for a long time. Now, I am evaluating pandora. I have some basic doubts…How can I configure alerts in a automatic response from an event? (I dont want have to configure an alert for each monitor for all agents)
If the response is no, what it is suggested? I am migrating +- 200 hosts and I did not found an migration script from nagios 2.0 to pandora 2.0.
Sorry my bad english.
Thanks,

Hi there,
You can create just one agent with all the modules and alerts you’d have the rest to have and then using the “Manage Agents -> Manage Config” copy all the alerts and modules to the rest of them.
There are some migrations scripts, however they’re for nagios 2.0 to PandoraFMS 1.3.1
http://pandora.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pandora/trunk/pandora_server/util/n2p.README
http://pandora.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pandora/trunk/pandora_server/util/n2p.plWe haven’t created the 2.0 ones yet, (maybe you can do it by yourself). A workaround could be to install pandoraFMS 1.3.1 migrate your nagios to it, and the migrate pandora 1.3.1 to pandora 2.0 using our migration script available at: http://pandorafms.com/index.php?lang=en&sec=pandora&sec2=download
