_data_ not being shown in alert emails
Posted by scottygolden on November 3, 2017 at 03:12Hi Guys,
I have just installed Pandora v7 the version I am running is :
Pandora FMS Build: PC170324
Pandora FMS Version: v7.0NGI am using a plugin that I wrote and has worked on the older version. (https://library.pandorafms.com/index.php?sec=Library&sec2=repository&lng=en&action=view_PUI&id_PUI=635)
The will return a count of processes with the name passed in. In the new version the value (in my case it ranges from 0 to 55) shows up correctly when looking the monitor on the agent detail screen. The graph is also showing the correct value.
The issue is that when an email is generated the value (_data_) is reported as NA.
The portion of the email template that applies is shown in this screen shot.
Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hi ScottyGolden,
I’m doing a test in an actual versión of Pandora. The email is correct, Pandora send me the value in the “_data_”.
Try to update the version.Best regards,
vic.
Before I go on let me thank you for the help. We all have busy lives and i do appreciate that time you have spent.
Well I tried several monitors (host latency, check disk free c:, and my own plugin) and they all give the same results.
I will put some debugging in to see what I can find.
Are you forcing the alert or allowing a natural one to occur?

So I tested this and noted that the issue only happens when I force the alert. It does not when it occurs naturally.
