  • Upgrade issues

I have upgraded a Pandora FMS 6.0 virtual appliance running on CentOS 6 to 7.0 . Upon invoking

    pandora_server /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf

I get stuck on ‘Starting Plugins’ or something to the like (sorry, I don’t have a screen shot). So I was thinking… during the setup, the database schema needed to be updated. running the script to upgrade the 6.0 schema to 7.0 was successful, so I’m guessing the database is valid for Pandora FMS 7.0. What if I export that database as it is, build a new instance of Pandora FMS 7.0 atop CentOS 7, then import the database into that machine? Would it work?

    thanks in advance
