I used to use Nagios, now I’m looking at switching to Pandora FMS.
Does Pandora FMS provide a sound alert on the web console?

I’ve searched through the forums and it seems that sound alerts will be heard from the server where FMS Server is installed, not on the user’s browser which is viewing the FMS’s web interface.

We don’t provide sound alerts in the webconsole out of the box, but we could try to help you to do so

Got it. Thanks very much for your reply.
I’m pretty handy with PHP, maybe you could point me to where I would start if I were to attempt to add sound alerts in the webconsole?

Mmm alerts are executed on “real time”, so will need to be played “once” per user, this is an interesting feature for the future can you add this in the “feature” tracker to be keeped in our roadmap ?

It’s a simple process that doesnt need to register an account.
