I am using Pandora FMS-1.2. Its been flawlessly working for a while on our systems, until recently when they changed the ssh into unix boxes to for a pass phrase. Below the problem is stated.

I am trying to get the Pandora agent in my Laptop(windows) to scp to the pandora server in the linux box. Looks like the Pandora Agent is looking for the ssh keys in SSH-2 DSA format. The linux boxes here authorise ssh through SSH-2 RSA(Which also needs passphrase authentication). I dont know the difference between the two authentications, could you please tell me if there a work around for this?

    Thanks,
    Kripa

    Hi Kram,

I guess that in this version (1.2) you can use ftp to do the job, but depending on how many servers you have with pandora, can result in a lot of work…. 🙁

I don’t know if the pandora guys have a better way to workaround this..

    Jesus, 1.2??

Anyways, why don’t you use tentacle in both, server and agents?
