Pandora2_Plugin Not starting in VMware download

I downloaded the VMWare app of Pandora FMS v2.0. I fixed the MAC info so I could get my eth0 working. But when I start up the console, I see that the Pandora2_plugin is red.

I tried to start the service manually using /usr/local/bin/pandora_plugin /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf

and I get an error about /dev/null: permission denied.

Suggestions?

Using root user:

/etc/init.d/pandora_plugin start

Lo he probado puesto que tenía el mismo problema y lo levanta sin problemas.

I have same problem too, always when restart pandora vmware box.

You can use
sudo /etc/init.d/pandora_plugin start like manu said.

yes i know, but i stop and start pandora box 1 time at week for backup of image file, when restart pandora_plugin is down.
I try to suspend pandora box like other windows box but don’t like it and receive a lot of false allarm.
