Alter the database default settings

What talbes do I alter to change the default settings?

For example:

When I create a module I notice the default setting for interval is zero and I want it to be lets say 300. Also, When I create alerts I want the default field to be critical. Things like this as it helps out when creating items.

You need to touch the code, it’s easy only a few files.

Would be glad to alter the php script files, but do not know how your hav ethe entire scripting done and yes I could probably figure it out in due time. If you could point me int he right direction I would be more than happy to alter the files.
