Problems related with local running agents

Which version are you using?
Do you receive data from the agent?
Have you registered the agent in the Console?
Do you see any info the the server logs?

I’m using Pandora 1.3.1.

I added the agent in the Pandora Console, and when I click on ‘Agent details’, it is listed as “agent down”. I’m pretty sure the IP address is set right, so is the Agent Name (taken from the machine name using uname -m).

Where can I find the server logs?

Server logs are normally at /var/log/pandora, depending on your distro…

Ok, I checked the /var/log/pandora/pandora_agent.log file, the last entry shows as follows:

Btw, on /var/spool/pandora/data_in I have several .data and .checksum files starting with the agent name, so it’s suposed to be working, as far as I know, but it doesn’t appear as an online agent to Pandora server. Am I missing something?

Well, if there are the .data files, those are not processed by the server, because the server deletes them when processes…
