How to make alert after second ping or telnet?

My company have offices in different countries.
So there is not good telecomunication line’s.
I create agent’s in pandora to ping and telnet some host’s, and sometimes I receive many letter’s( for example 13:21:07 – Alert, host is down, and 13:22:57 RECOVERED). Problem is in communication lines.
How can I configure alert’s to next – emeil to me after second ping, if first and second was with error?

You will need to play either with the “Min Number of Alerts” in the webconsole.
If you want to be more specific about how many icmp will be done, you’ll need to edit pandora_server.conf file and change it.

We added those values to get rid of false positives like the ones you’re getting.

I make some tests with Min Number of Alerts – and result was – I receive more than 1 letter like – host … is down…
so – I can’t do that I want in this way.

about pandora_serv.conf – will it help’s with telnet too?

I find – tcp_check it is for telnet I think?!
