New Installation / Couple of Questions
Hi Folks, i just installed Pandora FMS and i have some questions..
First of all:
Two of my monitored boxes are running Centos 5 with Plesk and Proftpd (the Plesk Version that is) and the FTP Server Check Component keeps telling me that they are down.. but they are not.
The FTP Service is running from inetd, but so is qmail which is reported as working..
I did not modify the Component is any way and a ‘telnet host 21’ gives me a 221 upon quit.. No Idea what is going wrong here..and Second.. I have my Agents running and they do report data (I can see the graphs in View Agents Agent Detail Data) but i would like them to be displayed on the “Full list of Monitors” and get an alert when they hit a certain treshold.. Any pointers how that could be accomplished?

First question,
What happens if you telnet that 21 port from the pandora machine? Can you reach it?
Second question,
Monitors are just boolean modules, (0/1), so you cannot put any other sort of that in the monitor list, it’s just automatic.
Although, and obviously, you can define alerts for any module, boolean or not, to be fired whenever you consider.
