    Hy,

I am new in pandora fms configuring, and I don’t understand why my network monitor not working?
I configured a new monitor for tcp/80 for test, but when I view the “all monitor” page, the tcp/80 monitor seems to be red(+6 months). When I go to Manage agents->view, there is no monitor, named tcp/80, I can only see the ceep alive host, and sshDaemon. What is bad in my configuration?

Each Pandora server creates a log. Take a look at the Network server log. You can find the log location in the pandora_server.conf file.

Have you assigned a server in your agent definition ?. This should be assigned to any of your available network servers. Also check all parameters for that network module (destination IP address, port if any, etc).

I have the same problem. However, when I go to create a new agent there is nothing in the Server drop down for me to select.

Yet if I go to Manage Servers there is my one server which was autocreated on startup and it has a green status light.

    Any thoughts?

The one with the green dot…is it the network one or the data one?
If it ain’t the first one, the network server, that’d explain why you’re not having any server on the “Create Agent” menu.

You gotta check if you have the network server running, if you’ve not, you have to launch it, otherwise you’re not getting any network server to assign the agents to.

    Hope this helps.
