  • min/max value

When entering the min and max value, what are those numbers based on, is it a %? So lets say I want to alert whenever the cpu is above 80%, what do I put, 0 and 80? I’m confused as to how this works.

also when setting up the alert for an agent what do these numbers represent? As shouldn’t the monitors have their on min/max? so why do i have to set it for alerts too?

If someone has a tutorial link it would be appreciated. i find the documentation is not clear enough on a lot of aspects.

It’s numeric, always, not needed to add % or other data.

If you want to setup an alert when CPU is above 80%, you need to setup alert min to 0 max to 79. All values OUT of that interval will fire the alert.
