SMTP Problems
Hi all:
I am working with vmware appliance of Pandora 1.2, and can’t get email alerts to work.
Checking logs, I see message “can’t send email to remote smtp server via command line”.
My intention is to use my OWN smtp server, but don’t know how to specify it in Debian.
Any help, please??? -

Any help, please???No problem, just install mail server you want and later, learn on how to send mails from command line (usually throught a wrapper for “sendmail” command). Edit pandora alert command to use the apropiate syntax and test it again.
