What can we check when the Pandora FMS server does not start?

The first thing we should check are the server log files, in these files will be detailed the error(s) that are produced when starting the Pandora FMS service.

/var/log/pandora/pandora_server.log
/var/log/pandora/pandora_server.error

Before starting the service, it is recommended to check that the following services are up in the system: tentacle_serverd and mysql.
