Hello,

I’m doing a project at school about monitoring.

For this project, I need to monitor a service (nginx).

Like if the system observe that the service is down it can automatically restart it.

Is It only with the paid version (Enterprise) that you can monitor services or you can also do this with the free version (Community) ? if you can with the free version how do you do this ?

Have you tried conditional monitoring? Here is a link to the wiki:

You can install a software agent on the machine that owns the service and create a module with a condition.
