Using MySQL with Pandora FMS
To whom it may concern,
Hello,
I am a student at a university and I am using Pandora FMS 7.0 NG 749 x86_64 to monitor servers for my project.
I am trying to figure out how I can set up MySQL with Pandora FMS but I cannot figure it out, I looked it up on the internet and I also followed the steps on the Pandora FMS official websites ( Database Installation ) .
I don’t know if MySQL already comes with Pandora FMS but I really need some help from you guys if possible.
If MySQL is already installed on Pandora FMS how can I use it, and if not could you please show me how to configure MySQL to work with Pandora FMS.
I have installed the ISO on CentOS 7 on a virtual machine using VMWare and I have pandora console working. All I need now is for MySQL to work.Thank you in advance

Hello Jimmy,
1) Do I follow these steps on the CentOS 7 that I already have open?
2) Is it possible to have a MySQL server on a different Virtual Machine and link them together?
(like a separate virtual machine other than the CentOS 7)
