Console pandora installation
Hello everyone, I am trying to install Pandora on Ubuntu 22.04 following the commands provided on the site “https://pandorafms.com/manual/!current/en/documentation/pandorafms/technical_annexes/30_pfms_install_latest_ubuntu_server”. However, at step 13.1 (Installation of the PFMS console), the file
pandorafms_server-lts.tar.gzis not present in the “deploy” directory nor under any similar name. What should I do?If you need further assistance or adjustments, feel free to ask!

Hello Mariem,
We actually have an automated installation script to install PandoraFMS in a freshly installed Ubuntu Server 22.04.
We strongly recommend you to use this script as it will perform the whole installation for you:
Be aware that the Ubuntu Server needs to be a fresh install (no dependencies installed at all) or the script will fail.
Everything related to PandoraFMS OpenSource is now being handled though GitHub

I encountered a MySQL error while executing the file, which I resolved, but when I relaunched the program, it fails at the environment stage, stating that there is already a current Pandora FMS installation. How can I fix errors and then re execute the script without having to start everything over from the beginning?

Hello Mariem,
As I mentioned before, it is imperative that the system is a Fresh newly installation. If you executed the script and failed, then you should snapback the OS to a previous state where no dependencies where installed.
If you didn’t made any snapshots, you need to reinstall the system and once you have the OS freshly installed again, you can execute the Online Installation Script once again and the error will go away.
Regarding which version you can Install PandoraFMS on, the ones we support are Ubuntu Server 22.04 (Needs to be server version not desktop) and the recommended OS to install PandoraFMS is RHEL or Rocky Linux 9
