  • Custom icons don’t show in “Icon and module value” widget

Posted by Euro on mayo 31, 2023 at 10:36

Hi, i’m using Pandora FMS .770 version and i’m having trouble using custom icons in my widget.

I downloaded some .png icons and imported them in the console via file manager.

    I uploaded them in <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>images/console/icons.

I opened my dashboard, i created a “Icon and module value” widget, configured it choosing one of my custom icons, it shows properly, i click OK and then it doesn’t show in the actual widget.

I tried to resize them multiple time, but they are still not showing in the dashboard, they are visible only when i configure the widget itself.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    Hi Euro,

I assume you are referring to the elements in the visual consoles, we have found a bug that causes the icons in the visual consoles to disappear after editing.

This bug will be fixed in version 772LTS so I recommend that you upgrade to that version as soon as it becomes available (approximately 2 weeks).

    Best regards,

    Víc.

I usually go the route that rprebel has outlined, but I have been using liteicon to change finder and trash icons because I’ve found them to be fickle, and liteicon deletes the icon cache for me.
