Multiple Agents Greyed Out – Unknown Status
Posted by kooperthedog on agosto 24, 2020 at 18:03We’ve just deployed the latest version of Pandora FMS server (Linux) and have started to monitor our Windows 2008/2012 R2/2016/2019 estate. We have a number of servers whereby the following modules show as status unknow and are greyed out:
Service DNS
Service Dnscache
Service Netlogon
Service NTDSThe other modules on these servers (CPU, RAM, Disk Space etc) are all fine and reporting back to the server. All client agents are the latest version and all Windows firewalls are switched off and connectivity from client to server is OK.
Can someone please shed any light on this?
Thanks,
Kenny

Hello,
Could you send us the configuration of the modules that remain in gray? This may be because they have not been configured correctly or that something is failing regarding the execution of the command.
Greetings
DiegoThanks Diego – we find that these modules seem to work on some servers and not others for some reason:
Please find below the content of the pandora_agent.conf file from one of the servers reporting an issue:

Hi,
The configuration file of the agent seems fine. Please enable the debug in the agent configuration file:
debug 1Then restart the agent and check in the temp folder of the pandora agent install dir for the xml containing the information of the agent. Also check the pandora_agent.log for the traces of the issue.
Regards.
