Introduction

The Azure SQL Discovery plugin discovers Azure SQL Database servers and databases, retrieves their status and metrics through Azure Resource Manager and Azure Monitor, and creates Pandora FMS agents and modules without opening a direct SQL connection. It supports multiple filters and can either create one agent per database or consolidate modules in an existing agent. If custom SQL queries against the database engine are required, use the MSSQL Discovery plugin, which is designed to connect directly to the server and execute SQL queries.
