Maximum number of LDAP bindings supported in the Community Edition GUI

Hi everyone,<br data-start=»225″ data-end=»228″> I’m using <strong data-start=»238″ data-end=»271″>Pandora FMS Community Edition and I’m configuring LDAP/Active Directory authentication for GUI access.

In the console settings I can see options for an <strong data-start=»395″ data-end=»410″>LDAP server and a <strong data-start=»417″ data-end=»442″>Secondary LDAP server used as a fallback.

<br data-start=»486″ data-end=»489″><strong data-start=»489″ data-end=»716″>Does the Community Edition officially support a maximum of two LDAP bindings (Primary + Secondary)?<br data-start=»590″ data-end=»593″> Or is there any undocumented method to add more than two LDAP servers, either through the GUI or via configuration files?

I checked the documentation, but I couldn’t find any explicit statement about the maximum number of supported LDAP servers. I’d like to know if this is a technical limitation of the Community Edition or simply a GUI limitation.

Hello Luca,

There is only 2 LDAP servers available to configure, Primary and Secondary.

This is actually the same in our Enterprise model, we have no more than 2 LDAP server, one will be the main LDAP and the fallback in case the primary fails.
